What is WCAG?

WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the W3C standard for web accessibility. It defines how to make sites usable by people with disabilities, including color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support. WCAG 2.1 has three levels: A (minimum), AA (recommended), and AAA (enhanced). Most sites aim for AA. Our contrast checker and color tools help you meet WCAG color requirements.
